The School and Role

A Primary School based in South Shields are seeking to employ a Teaching Assistant to work Full time from December 2025. The successful candidate will be expected to work in KS1, offering general support and small intervention groups to pupils who are working below the expected level.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will:
- Have experience of working across KS1.
- Hold a Level 2 Teaching Qualification or above.
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality.
- Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.
