Tool Assembler / Technician

We are representing a well-established company in the precision engineering sector, seeking a skilled technician to ensure the correct issue, maintenance, and storage of tooling to support seamless production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue and manage tooling effectively across production departments.
• Conduct first-off inspections in line with operating procedures.
• Identify and report deficiencies related to production methods and tolerances.
• Maintain a safe and organised tooling area under 6S standards.
• Replace and maintain tooling parts as required.
• Ensure continuous tooling availability for production teams.
• Support all departments with tooling requirements.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in using measuring equipment, grinding machines, lathes, and milling machines.
• Experience with the heat treatment process.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Commitment to driving continuous improvement in a production setting.
