Rate: 25 - 30 per hour Location: South Pier, Ocean Beach Pleasure Park, Sea Rd, South Shields, NE33 2LD

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder for a specialized project involving harbour repairs at South Pier.

Job Description:

The role will primarily involve using an Oxy-Settling Torch to melt and cut steel barriers as part of the ongoing harbour repair work. The successful candidate must be proficient in this specific type of welding and confident in working in a marine environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Welder, particularly with an Oxy-Settling Torch.

• Must hold a valid Blue CSCS Card.

• A strong understanding of on-site health and safety procedures.

• Ability to work effectively and safely in a challenging environment.

• Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
