Hours: 37 hours a week
Are you a proactive and enthusiastic IT professional with a passion for problem-solving and user support? We're currently seeking an IT Support Technician for our client to join a busy and collaborative IT department supporting all areas of a well-established manufacturing business at their Bath site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in IT support who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, assisting users across departments with a wide range of IT systems and hardware.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for users on-site at the Bath factory.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents and requests, ensuring issues are followed through to resolution.
- Install and configure hardware and software including:
- Windows PCs
- Printers and other peripherals
- 3rd party business applications
- Support users in getting the most from software applications.
- Escalate more complex issues to senior team members or third-party providers when necessary.
The working hours will be 7.30am - 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am - 12.30 on Fridays.

- A genuine interest in IT and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Skills & Experience:
- Formal IT-related qualification(s) or experience in a similar support role (highly desirable)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 and SharePoint is advantageous
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is a plus
