Cover Supervisor/Cover Teacher
Timeplan Education is recruiting a Cover Teacher to lead core lessons in a SEMH Primary school in Southall, West London. The role would be to teach pre-planned lessons. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH is desirable but not essential. You will be working on a full-time, long-term basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Comfortable supporting pupils with SEMH, and high-functioning Autism and leading pre-planned lessons,
- Ability to engage and support pupils' learning
- Supporting pupils with emotional regulation
- Develop therapeutic relationships with pupils
- To promote and support the inclusion of all pupils in learning activities and maximise their achievement
- Strong behaviour management

Job Requirements
- Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND and SEMH is desirable but is not essential
- Able to de-escalate and support emotional regulation
- Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
- Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 12-39 weeks
