We are seeking a professional and approachable Receptionist to join a friendly office team. This is a front-of-house role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area while supporting wider facilities tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and welcoming visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression
- Managing the switchboard, directing calls, and taking accurate messages
- Coordinating meeting rooms, including setup, refreshments, and ensuring rooms are kept tidy and well-presented
- Handling incoming and outgoing post and courier services
- Maintaining office supplies and liaising with suppliers where necessary
- Assisting with general facilities support, such as reporting maintenance issues and liaising with contractors
- Providing ad hoc administrative support for internal teams
About You
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or customer service role
- Excellent communication skills with a polite and professional manner
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- Proactive, reliable, and confident working independently
- Comfortable with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and switchboard systems
