We're working with one of Southampton's most reputable accountancy firms, known for its supportive culture, strong client relationships, and commitment to career development. They're looking for a Corporate Tax Specialist to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own portfolio of corporate tax clients
  • Liaise with HMRC and assist junior staff, ensuring high-quality work
  • Identify and address internal control weaknesses, providing actionable recommendations
  • Engage with clients' senior executives and update firm executives
  • Supervise project planning, execution, and finalisation
  • Prepare and review working papers, providing training and coaching

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading client relationships and delivering high-quality tax advice
  • Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work
  • Liaising with HMRC and senior client stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and client value
  • Getting involved in planning, execution, and finalisation of projects

What We're Looking For

  • ATT or CTA part-qualified or fully qualified
  • Strong corporate tax experience in practice
  • Confident communicator with a client-first mindset
  • Someone who enjoys mentoring and collaborative working
