Are you immediately available and looking for a full-time Management Accountant role?We are on the hunt for a talented Management Accountant to join a thriving international software company, based in Southampton, on a 6-month temporary basis. You will benefit from a hybrid working (1 day in the office, 4 days from home) and a modern and collaborative work environment.Reporting to the Head of Group Reporting, your responsibilities will include:
  • Perform monthly reconciliations, including supporting reconciliation to the Trial Balance
  • Manage accruals and prepayments
  • Assist in transitioning financial data from Excel to Google Sheets
  • Support and improve monthly forecasting processes
  • Prepare and manage Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, ensuring they are linked to forecasts and budgets
  • Assist in developing seamless financial reporting systems and processes
  • Implement new payroll software, including reconciliation and system setup
  • Help streamline manual processes, fostering more efficient work flows
  • Provide ongoing support with financial reporting and analysis
  • Adapt to a rapidly changing environment, helping integrate systems and processes
What we’re looking for:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant Accounts Assistant / Accountant
  • Good working knowledge of Excel (including VLookups and Pivot tables)
  • Experience using Google sheets
  • Confidence in working on your own initiative and hitting the ground running
