The role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract.Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:

Taking the lead on implementing new finance software (iFinance)
Producing clear, accurate management accounts with a focus on peaks and troughs in cycles
Supporting department heads with annual budget setting, reporting and forecasting
Handling core month-end tasks, from journals and accruals to prepayments and reconciliations
Maintaining the fixed asset registers and supporting VAT returns
Acting as a finance partner to over 50 budget holders and assisting with year-end accounts

What you will need:

Previous experience in a similar role, such as Management Accountant / Senior Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant / Systems Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner / Commercial Management Accountant
Proven experience with system implementation
To be part-qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA or QBE
Excellent Excel skills and confidence with a range of finance systems
Confidence in communicating with budget holders and department leads
To be solution-focused and comfortable managing changing priorities
