A great part time opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Assistant to join a reputable and growing accounting provider in Southampton.
This is a hybrid opportunity with flexible hours.
The company is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join a very supportive and friendly team. As part of the team, you will play a vital role in payroll, maintaining accurate financial records for clients, assisting with financial reporting, and supporting the broader accounting practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain up-to-date employee records and payroll documentation
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger entries
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
What We're Looking For:
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
- AAT qualification (or working towards it)
