Description
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations in the manufacturing department.
- Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial reports.
- Analyse manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing budget costs to actual costs.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to identify areas for financial improvement.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and assist with other finance related tasks.
- Support external auditors by providing accurate information and answering questions.
Profile
A successful Accountant should have:
- Ideally be working towards professional qualifications or be qualified by experience
- Experience in a similar accountancy role
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Proficiency in ERP systems
- Be able to work in the office full time
