Join the Team That Keeps the Network MovingWe’re looking for a Facilities Technician to join a leading rail company based in Southampton.
 
 In this hands-on role, you’ll be essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and operational depot environment, supporting the teams that keep rail services running smoothly across the UK.
As a Facilities Technician, you’ll be responsible for:
- Performing heavy-duty cleaning in a live rail depot
- Cleaning pits, sheds, and depot interiors to meet safety and operational standards
- Removing oil, grease, and industrial residues from equipment and train underframes
- Supporting general housekeeping and depot cleanliness
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
- Promoting and adhering to safe working practices across the site
We’re seeking someone who is:
 - Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to high standards
 - Physically capable of manual, active work
 - Experienced in cleaning, industrial, or manual labour (preferred but not essential)
 - Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
Ideal backgrounds include:
- Heavy industrial, factory, or depot cleaning
- Plant, workshop, or engineering environments
- Manual roles where teamwork and safety are key
A full safety induction will be provided. All applicants must pass a rail medical and drug & alcohol screening before starting.
