We are currently seeking a Van Driver to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery and collection of products to a diverse customer base, while also providing exceptional pre- and post-sale support to ensure customers fully maximise the value and efficiency of the products.

A key aspect of the role is using your engaging personality to inspire and excite both customers and colleagues, showcasing the latest products, technology, and innovations

About this position:

  • Monday to Friday (40-hour week)
  • Start times would vary depending on jobs that are scheduled
  • Delivering cleaning equipment to customers sites nationwide
  • You will be required to load and unload the equipment at the sites
  • Update any progress and information on company's system via a tablet
  • Provide updates for delivery schedule
  • You will be required to provide product demonstrations and training sessions for customers
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections to confirm equipment is in proper condition

What we require from you for this role:

  • Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months
  • Willingness to travel long distances
  • Previous experience in delivery or logistics focused role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills as you will be dealing with customers face to face
  • Ensure all documentation and records are complete and up-to-date.
  • Strapping experience
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items due to the nature of the role
  • IT and computer literate
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Flexible to work early mornings, late shifts or extended hours if needed
