A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Driver Hire Southampton for experienced and newly qualified Class 2 drivers. For this role you will be responsible for delivering stationary products to commercial areas in and around the Hampshire area
Information about this Class 2 Delivery Driving role:
- 12-week temp to perm position working Monday to Friday
- 37 hours a week
- Around 10-15 drops per shift
- 7:00am start time
- Driving Class 2 vehicle where you will be required to operate tail lift and pump truck
- Deliveries are mostly around the Hampshire area
- Carry out daily vehicle checks
- Delivering stationary materials to business and commercial areas
What we require from our Class 2 Drivers:
- Full UK Class 2 driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Previous experience in a multidrop role is beneficial
- Own transport to commute to and from work is essential
- Fantastic customer service and communication skills
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner
- Good area knowledge
- Understand manual handling and heavy lifting procedures
- Comply with companies' health and safety regulations
