We have a number of clients with upcoming projects, who are looking for additional support. These roles are crucial for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of driving heavy goods vehicles and a commitment to maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and compliance.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Safely operate HGVs to transport goods to various locations.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
  • Plan routes efficiently and manage schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is secured correctly.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and regulations related to HGV operation.
  • Maintain accurate logs of travel and cargo according to company and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Valid HGV licence.
  • Proven experience as an HGV Driver.
  • Strong understanding of road safety and vehicle maintenance.

  • Excellent navigational and route planning skills.
  • Good physical condition and stamina to handle the demands of the role.
