The position is for a Carpenter within Southampton City Council's Housing Operations team.

The working hours are Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 4.15pm, and the pay ranges from £20.00 to £22.00 per hour, paid weekly via umbrella.
This is an ongoing, long-term contract that emphasizes communication and customer focus due to daily interactions with residents and colleagues.

Duties: We are looking for a confident and self-motivated individual who has the ability to multi-task and can carry out small works in other trade disciplines, to undertake the role of Carpenter within Southampton City Council’s Housing Operations team. Experience of working with UPVC installation and property maintenance would be an advantage, it is essential for you to have a practical understanding of the construction / property maintenance industry. You will be liaising with residents, peers and colleagues on a daily basis so communication and customer focus will be essential to the role.
