Veritas Laboratory Services Ltd is growing, and we’re looking for a Junior Instrument Chemist to join our dynamic team!

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to kick-start their career in analytical science. You’ll be working hands-on with our suite of analytical systems, including GC/MS and LC/MS instruments.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Daily management and tuning of analytical systems
  • Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of instrument sources
  • Preparing solutions and setting up analytical sequences
  • Accurately completing system maintenance and tuning records

What We’re Looking For:

  • A practical, hands-on approach — if you can confidently use a spanner (or even two!), you’re off to a great start
  • A willingness to learn and retain information
  • A proactive attitude — we value initiative over being spoon-fed
  • No prior experience required — full training will be provided
