Mechanical Project Manager – South Coast & London Projects

£70,000 to £80,000 (depending on experience) + Company Car + Benefits Package

David Leslie Ltd is proud to be partnering with a growing and well-respected M&E Building Services contractor based just west of Southampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to work on a variety of high-quality projects across the healthcare and medium-scale commercial sectors throughout the South Coast, Central London, and Kent.

You’ll enjoy a varied working week with time spent on site, in the office, and occasional working from home, along with full involvement in projects from start to finish. The successful Mechanical Project Manager will be managing a range of pre-designed and design & build projects valued between £500k and £2M.

The role:

  • Delivering mechanical projects from inception to completion
  • Managing a mix of pre-designed and D&B schemes
  • Supporting and mentoring less experienced staff
  • Carrying out site surveys, managing variations, and taking a hands-on approach when required
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager (project values £500k–£2m)
  • Flexibility to travel to sites across the South Coast, Central London, and Kent
  • A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to continue learning
  • Comfortable managing responsibilities both on site and in the office, with the willingness to take a hands-on role when required

Salary and benefits package:

  • £70,000 to £80,000 depending on experience
