Job Title: Building Surveyor (Damp Specialist)

Building Surveyor with damp experience to take on a role in the public sector. In this role, you will conduct thorough surveys, diagnose damp-related problems, and provide expert recommendations. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring safe, healthy, and structurally sound properties.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed building surveys with a focus on damp, mould, and moisture-related issues.

Diagnose causes of damp and provide comprehensive reports with solutions.

Advise clients on remedial measures and liaise with contractors where necessary.

Carry out property assessments to evaluate structural integrity and other defects.

Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and industry standards.

Work closely with clients, offering technical guidance and support.
Requirements:

Proven experience in building surveying, particularly damp investigations.

Knowledge of damp diagnosis techniques and remedial actions.

Familiarity with UK building regulations and industry standards.

Strong report-writing and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

Relevant qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) are desirable.
