Building Surveyor with damp experience to take on a role in the public sector. In this role, you will conduct thorough surveys, diagnose damp-related problems, and provide expert recommendations. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring safe, healthy, and structurally sound properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed building surveys with a focus on damp, mould, and moisture-related issues.

  • Diagnose causes of damp and provide comprehensive reports with solutions.

  • Advise clients on remedial measures and liaise with contractors where necessary.

  • Carry out property assessments to evaluate structural integrity and other defects.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and industry standards.

  • Work closely with clients, offering technical guidance and support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in building surveying, particularly damp investigations.

  • Knowledge of damp diagnosis techniques and remedial actions.

  • Familiarity with UK building regulations and industry standards.

  • Strong report-writing and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) are desirable.
