We are currently looking for a Ground works Foreman to work on a large residential project in Southampton for immediate start. You will be working for one of the UKs biggest civils companies and will be on site for the next year.
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in residential groundworks and be able to manage up to 25 men on site. You must be well versed in all NHBC guidelines as well as intricate details of foundation and substructure drawings that go along with residential groundworks.
This is an opportunity for a long run of work that could potentially keep you employed for up to 3 years around the Southampton area. Our client has an extremely strong pipeline of work.
You must have the following –
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- 3+ years in residential groundworks
- Strong communication skills
- Be able to build relationships with gangs
- Capable of reading substructure drawings
- Good understanding of ground work foundations
- Understand and follow all NHBC guidelines
