We are excited to be working in partnership with a well established Optical Specialist who have a fantastic full time permanent opportunity to join their team in the Southampton area! Our client is looking for an Senior Patient Support Advisor to provide all round patient support.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Patient Support Advisor to join our dynamic team. This role is essential to provide outstanding support to customers while contributing to the efficiency of the call centre operations. . The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service experience, alongside staff training experience.

Duties

  • Deal directly with customers via telephone and book appointments for customers
  • Promote and offer the best services available (Contact Lens, Spectacle, and Hearing Care)
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries and handle product/service-related enquiries
  • Maintain and update customer records and ensure accurate administration
  • Support marketing campaigns by calling existing customers with offers
  • Follow up on customer interactions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Assist with ad-hoc campaigns and projects
  • Manage call routing and call handling via Call Centre software
  • Provide feedback on the customer service process and improve efficiency
  • Mentor and assist in training new and existing colleagues
  • Occasionally provide support in team meetings and contribute to departmental tasks
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, timekeeping, and respect for company property
  • Operate in line with company policies, procedures, and current legislation

Experience

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Experience with training and coaching staff members
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications and call centre software
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to efficiently type and manage customer databases
  • Product knowledge would be an advantage

Salary

25,000 Per year

Working Hours

Full-time, Permanent, Includes Weekends
