The Role:

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established automotive business based in the Southampton area, who are seeking to add a Service Advisor to their experienced and friendly aftersales team. This is a rare Monday to Friday only opportunity - offering a great work-life balance and the chance to develop a long-term career within a supportive and professional dealership environment.

While motor trade experience is preferred, our client is also open to applicants from non-automotive backgrounds, provided you bring strong customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Advisor:

Booking vehicles in for service, MOT, and repair appointments

Liaising with customers both face-to-face and over the phone

Coordinating with workshop and parts departments to ensure a smooth customer journey

Providing updates and advice to customers regarding their vehicle's progress

Processing invoices, raising job cards, and handling payments

Assisting with parts-related tasks as required, including checking stock and processing orders

What we are looking for:

Experience in a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing role is desirable

Strong customer service background essential - motor trade experience is a bonus, not a must

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A full UK driving licence is essential

Package:

Basic Salary: £27,000

Bonus Potential: £4,500 per annum

Total Earnings: £31,500 OTE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm - no weekend work
