As a reception teacher, you will be expected to:
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
- Have experience working with young children in a primary setting, ideally within the Early Years Foundation Stage or Reception class
- Possess a current Enhanced DBS certificate (essential for working with children)
- Be able to provide two professional references in support of your application
- Demonstrate confident classroom management, strong communication skills, and a caring, child-focused approach that supports the unique needs of Reception learners
