About the Role
As a Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the delivery of safe, person-centred, high-quality care. You’ll use your leadership and turnaround expertise to improve standards, develop CQC reports, and guide your team to deliver an outstanding resident experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong, visible leadership as the Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager, promoting a culture of quality and compassion.
- Lead and deliver effective turnaround strategies to move services from Requires Improvement to Good or Outstanding.
- Develop, write, and submit high-quality CQC reports and action plans.
- Manage budgets, staffing, compliance, and operational excellence as a proactive Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, regulators, and community partners.
- Drive occupancy, customer satisfaction, and continuous service improvement.
About You
- Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager within elderly or nursing care settings.
- Successful track record of turning around homes and improving CQC ratings.
- Strong knowledge of CQC compliance, governance, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Skilled in developing CQC documentation, audits, and improvement plans.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.
- Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD) preferred but not essential for the right Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager.
- Passionate about delivering person-centred care in a supportive, values-driven environment.
