About the Role
As Nursing Home / Care Home Operations Manager / Regional Manager / Operations Director / COO, you will oversee the performance, compliance, and strategic development of care homes, ensuring excellence in service delivery, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance (CQC). This role combines hands-on operational leadership with long-term strategic vision.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop multiple care home teams across the region
- Drive operational excellence and ensure full CQC compliance
- Oversee quality assurance and continuous improvement projects
- Implement business development strategies and change management initiatives
- Shape the future direction of the organisation as part of the senior leadership team
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred elderly care
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and promote best practices
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic leader with a strong track record in elderly care operations.
Essential Experience:
- Previous role as Care Home Operations Manager, Operations Director, COO, Nursing Home Director, or Regional Manager in a care setting
- Expertise in nursing home management, quality assurance, and regulatory standards
- Deep understanding of CQC compliance, care governance, and risk management
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and workforce performance
- Proven ability to lead large teams and deliver organisational change
Desirable:
- Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN) is advantageous but not essential
- Experience working with small-to-medium sized care groups
- Strategic mindset with a passion for care excellence
