Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Design Engineer:
- Lead the design of electrical hardware from concept through to production.
- Translate customer requirements into precise, manufacturable designs.
- Simulate, prototype, and analyze test data to refine product designs.
- Develop and review design documentation, including component selection and BOM creation.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure best practices in implementation.
Essential Skills of the Electrical Design Engineer:
- Expertise in electrical design and development, with experience in Solidworks Electrical or similar software.
- Familiarity with military, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of electrical and safety standards, including experience with ISO 9001 and EMC regulations.
- Ability to present engineering solutions effectively in project meetings and reviews.
Security Clearance:
- UK National, able to obtain security clearance (Baseline)
