A dynamic and growing retail business, part of a global group, is seeking a Finance Leader to take ownership of financial control, reporting, and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on role, supporting the UK business while collaborating with international finance teams to drive process improvements and automation.
What will the Finance Manager role involve?

Oversee financial operations, ensuring robust processes for cash flow management.

Produce timely and accurate management reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.

Manage month-end close, journals, reconciliations, and statutory reporting.

Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.

Supervise and develop a small finance team.

Ensure VAT compliance and oversee payroll, commissions, and profit share calculations.

Drive system improvements, automation, and efficiencies to support business scale and growth.

Manage stock valuation, ensuring accurate inventory records.

Provide financial analysis to support decision-making for senior management and investors.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with experience in a finance leadership role.

Strong understanding of financial controls, reporting, and compliance.

Hands-on experience with accounting software (Xero or similar) and advanced Excel skills.

Knowledge of UK tax regulations, VAT compliance, and payroll processes.
