Our highly successful and Outstanding school in Southampton is seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to specialise in Key Stage 5 French. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving Modern Foreign Languages department and make a real difference to the lives of our A-Level students.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Expert Teaching: Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective A-Level French lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of our students.
  • Student Progress: Monitoring, assessing, and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing effective intervention strategies where necessary.
  • Curriculum Contribution: Contributing to the development, implementation, and review of the Key Stage 5 French curriculum and resources.
  • Assessment and Examinations: Preparing students for A-Level examinations and ensuring accurate and timely assessment practices.
  • Extracurricular Involvement: Contributing to extracurricular activities that promote the French language and culture within the school community (e.g., language clubs, trips).
  • Collaboration: Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages department and across the wider school.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
