Morgan Hunt are working with a market leading Welfare to Work provider who are recruiting for Justice Case Worker in Southampton. This role will involve supporting ex-offenders with their personal finances, education and supporting them into employment. This is a full time permanent position paying £27,198 with a view to increase up to £31,790. The role will involve working on site 5 days per week in their office in Southampton with some travel required to local prisons. The Justice Case Worker will be responsible for:

  • Managing a caseload of up to 80 participants into sustainable employment
  • Conducting needs and skills analysis of each participant to ensure suitable roles are matched to
  • Assisting with personal finance, housing, CV development and interview techniques
  • Engaging employers to source suitable work opportunities for participants
  • Uploading and maintaining data participants data to track progress

The Justice Case Worker will need to have:

  • A strong background/knowledge within the criminal justice system or
  • Knowledge and experience of Safeguarding
  • Experience of supporting individuals with various barriers into sustainable employment (however the client will consider those without)
  • Worked within a target driven environment
  • The ability to use various systems competently

In return the Justice Case Worker will receive:

  • An annual salary of £27,198
