Multi-Trader Wanted | Carpentry & Plumbing Bias | Social Housing Pros - This One's For You

Are you a reliable, all-round Tradesperson with solid Carpentry or Plumbing skills and hands-on experience in social housing? Ready to feel like more than just another number-where your work is trusted, your trade is respected, and your days are varied?

If that sounds like you, Moxie People want to hear from you.

We're working with a well-respected Housing Association looking to bring in an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative. You'll be working across occupied properties, carrying out quality repairs and upgrades-anything from fitting new doors to fixing leaks, with no two days the same.

This is a role for someone who gets stuck in, takes pride in the detail, and knows the value of treating tenants' homes with care.

The Offer - Solid Package for Solid Work:

  • 36,750 - 37420 base salary, plus excellent rates for call-outs
  • 6,000 in holiday pay on top (yes, really)
  • 28 days off + public holidays - total of 36 days to unwind
  • 10% pension contribution - future you will thank you
  • Dedicated van + fuel card - no more paperwork or petrol receipts
  • Uniform and quality PPE - because you shouldn't have to chase gear
  • Free Life Assurance - worth 5x your salary
  • Training & development - grow your skills or upskill across other trades
  • Employee Assistance Programme - 24/7 support
  • Flexi holiday options - buy/sell to fit your lifestyle
  • Enhanced sick pay - because life happens

The Work - No Boring Days Here:

  • Day-to-day: Kitchen and bathroom repairs, door/frame replacement, fitting windows, architraves, skirting-you name it
  • A mix of Carpentry, Plumbing, Tiling, Plastering and general maintenance
  • Covering Eastleigh, Salisbury, Southampton, and Andover
  • Working in occupied social housing - treat it like your own home
  • Keep things safe, tidy and to standard - proper kit provided
  • Speak with tenants and colleagues with respect and clarity - it goes a long way

What You'll Bring:

  • C&G or NVQ Level 2 in a trade (Carpentry preferred, but Plumbing experience also welcome)
  • Experience in reactive repairs & planned maintenance within social housing
  • Capable across other trades - think tiling, patch plastering, brickwork
  • The ability to work solo or with others - you'll be trusted either way
  • A full UK driving licence - the van will be ready and waiting

This is a proper job with a proper team-where your graft matters, and your input is respected. If you're looking to put your tools to use somewhere stable, supportive, and well-organised, this could be the move you've been waiting for.
