THE POSITION: Experienced Planner
My Client are a main contractor who target schemes between 3m and 25 million on frameworks and repeat business opportunities with long term clients. Typical schemes are schools and multi phased schemes, student accommodation, MOD and infrastructure projects.
The company is now seeking a talented Planner to join their Pre-Construction team, following the upcoming retirement of a long-serving colleague. This role offers genuine long-term career stability within a financially secure business that continues to grow through reinvestment and repeat work.

The Role: Planner/ Senior Planner
Working closely with senior leaders, you will support tender and design-stage planning for technically challenging projects across the South Coast.
Key elements will include:
Developing accurate and logically sequenced programmes
Influencing construction methodology and build strategy at bid stage
Producing supporting planning documentation for tender submissions
Collaborating with estimators and operational delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle
Engaging with clients and stakeholders to communicate programme requirements
Preparing programmes using Asta Powerproject (training can be provided)
What We're Looking For
Planning experience within construction
Strong understanding of buildability, sequencing and logistics
Experience supporting tenders or live project delivery
Competency with planning software
Confident communicator who can work collaboratively across multiple disciplines
