Your Company:An engineering services business is searching the market for a Shot/Grit Blaster to join their team located in the Eastleigh area. The company provide a wide range of expert and niche services to their client base, including cleaning and surface treatments. This position holder will join a growing team to provide excellent services for clients.Your Roles and Responsibilities:

Manual blasting
Utilising a pot and hose on assigned work
Using blast cleaning
Any ad hoc work as required by management

What you will need to Apply:The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced grit/shot blaster with a significant number of years’ experience in blasting, specifically in a blast booth as opposed to cabinet blasting which is not relevant for this position. Applicants must have a good level of communication skills, both in written and verbal form and they must be able to work independently and as part of a wider team. There will also be options for overtime working which is expected when required. What you will get in Return:For the successful candidate a negotiable hourly rate of around £15 per hour will be on offer, depending on the level of relevant experience possessed in relation to the role requirements, and this will accompany a peripheral package including a strong holiday and pension allocation, other employee benefits and the possibility of a discretionary bonus.
