The Opportunity

Build a career in proposal management within a fast-growing consultancy and gain hands-on experience and work closely with industry experts in the Southampton office, five days a week.

You’ll join a leading independent consultancy specialising in emergency and oil spill response, providing technical consultancy, incident management, and crisis response training to the global oil and gas industry.

Working closely with the Commercial Director, you’ll be learning how to develop compelling proposals, liaise with clients, and ensure high-quality, timely submissions.

No two days will be the same; one moment, you’ll be drafting a proposal, and the next, you’ll be coordinating with internal teams to gather essential information.

Your ability to manage multiple projects, pay attention to detail, and communicate effectively will be key to your success.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end proposal process, ensuring that every submission is accurate, polished, and delivered on time.

As you develop in the role, you'll gain a deep understanding of tendering, client requirements, and industry best practices.

You’ll have the opportunity to refine templates, track proposal success rates, and play a vital role in improving the process.

About You

This role is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic and a proactive mindset, whether you’re an experienced administrator or looking for a step into a fast-moving industry.

A keen eye for detail and an ability to manage deadlines will set you apart. While a degree is a plus, hands-on experience in administration or coordination is just as valuable.

Existing entitlement to live and work in the United Kingdom is required.
