Permanent Teacher of Psychology (A-Level Focus with Recruitment Potential) - Outstanding Southampton School (Psychology Department)

An outstanding school in Southampton is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Permanent Teacher of Psychology to primarily teach A-Level Psychology and contribute to the continued growth and success of our Sixth Form Psychology cohort. You will play a key role in inspiring students to choose and excel in A-Level Psychology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Psychology lessons primarily to A-Level students, showcasing the relevance and excitement of the subject for future academic and career paths.
  • Contribute to strategies for promoting and recruiting students to A-Level Psychology.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sixth Form students, acting as a mentor and guide in their psychological studies.
  • Contribute to the A-Level Psychology curriculum, ensuring it is engaging and meets the needs of our ambitious students.
  • Collaborate with the Psychology Department and Sixth Form team to promote the subject and support student progression.
