An outstanding school in Southampton is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Permanent Teacher of Psychology to primarily teach A-Level Psychology and contribute to the continued growth and success of our Sixth Form Psychology cohort. You will play a key role in inspiring students to choose and excel in A-Level Psychology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Psychology lessons primarily to A-Level students, showcasing the relevance and excitement of the subject for future academic and career paths.
- Contribute to strategies for promoting and recruiting students to A-Level Psychology.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sixth Form students, acting as a mentor and guide in their psychological studies.
- Contribute to the A-Level Psychology curriculum, ensuring it is engaging and meets the needs of our ambitious students.
- Collaborate with the Psychology Department and Sixth Form team to promote the subject and support student progression.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong degree in Psychology or a related field.

- A proactive approach to student recruitment and engagement.
