Quantum Scholars are excited to support a secondary school in Southampton in their search for a passionate and qualified Sociology Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and supportive school environment. The position is full-time and permanent, with the role commencing in September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality Sociology lessons to secondary school students.
Plan, prepare, and assess student work in accordance with the curriculum.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Support the development of students' critical thinking and analytical skills.
Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the delivery of Sociology across the school.
Contribute to the wider school community and take part in extra-curricular activities as required.
Requirements:
A degree in Sociology or a related field.
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
A passion for Sociology and teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience teaching Sociology at secondary school level is desirable but not essential.
