Job Role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Southampton
Pay: £82.50 – £100 per day (Dependent on Experience)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract Type: Full Time
Start Date: January 2026

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with SEND or specific learning needs
- Assist with classroom activities and adapt resources to meet individual needs
- Support emotional well-being and encourage positive behaviour
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning plans
- Promote independence and confidence in learning
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children with SEND (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
- Ability to follow safeguarding and school policies
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
