Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with SEND or specific learning needs
  • Assist with classroom activities and adapt resources to meet individual needs
  • Support emotional well-being and encourage positive behaviour
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning plans
  • Promote independence and confidence in learning

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children with SEND (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
  • Ability to follow safeguarding and school policies
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
