As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a proactive and effective HR service across the business. You will provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organisation.
  • Assist with recruitment and selection processes, including drafting job descriptions, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems.
  • Support organisational change initiatives such as restructures, TUPE, and redundancy processes.
  • Deliver HR-related training and briefings to line managers.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics such as absence, turnover, and engagement.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Person Specification

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards it.
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Confident in advising and influencing managers at all levels.
