Network Assurance Engineer - £430 to £460 per day – 11-month contract – Southampton (Hybrid)
FryerMiles are delighted to working with a national IT services company to assist with their recruitment of a Network Assurance Engineer on an 11-month contract working in a hybrid capacity from their Southampton location. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects, ensuring the robustness and reliability of complex networked IT infrastructures. Active SC clearance is a huge plus, but if you've been cleared previously or have the ability to be cleared we still want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct testing and validation of IT infrastructure and network systems to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with technical requirements.
- Oversee and manage test execution in a network environment, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability of results.
- Identify and address issues through structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Apply FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) techniques to assess potential system vulnerabilities and improve reliability.
- Interface with cross-functional teams to support assurance activities and maintain alignment with project objectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in testing methodologies and assurance processes.
- Provide detailed technical reports and assurance documentation to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in testing and validating IT infrastructure and network environments.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and test execution procedures.
- Demonstrated experience with FMEA and other risk analysis tools.
- Background in system assurance, particularly in highly regulated sectors.
- Aerospace or space sector experience is a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a hybrid, collaborative environment.
