As a Senior /PrincipalSystems Engineer, you will work in the Integrated Project Team (IPT) engaged in the development of JEWCS Land and Maritime project. Our Systems Engineers span across range of activities that help pull together all the necessary engineering and technology strands into a high-performance system. As a Systems Engineer, you will bridge the gap between the theoretically possible and the practically implementable.
The successful candidate will have experience in system engineering lifecycles including problem definition, systems architecture,verificationand validation activities within a project.
What you will do:
We are seeking engineers to help us integrate a number of Communications, Electronic Attack and Electronic Surveillance equipment into a number of different asset configurations. As a member of our team, you will have the ability to lead aspects of design, integration, and testing of advanced RF systems for vehicle platform integration.
Work ExperienceSkills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required
Essential:
- Experience of design integration of complex systems
- Knowledge of RFcommunication systems
- Understanding ofElectronic Warfare(EA/ES) systems
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to steertechnicalinterchange discussions
- Ability to operate both at a strategic & tactical level, with a willingness to engage directly to resolve detailedtechnicalissues
- Ability to define & influence design decisions, both within the internal project team & customer environments
- Ability to define test &acceptance criteria& assesssystem designcompliance against user &system requirements
- Possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics,Computer Science, or other related discipline
- Excellent written & verbal communication& presentation ability
