HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter - Southampton

Location: Southampton

Salary: £37,(Apply online only) - £45,(Apply online only)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30 (40 hours per week)

We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter to join our busy, modern Redbridge workshop. You'll perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles in a fast-paced, well-equipped environment, supported by a knowledgeable team and the latest diagnostic tools.

Key Responsibilities: HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitte

  • Carry out servicing and repairs on HGVs to industry and manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose faults accurately and carry out mechanical repairs
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of work completed
  • Adhere to company processes and procedures and meet operational targets
  • Participate in training to maintain and develop technical skills

Skills and Qualifications: HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitte

Essential:

  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician
  • Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Positive, can-do attitude and team player
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
