The Role
As a Transshipment Specialist, you will coordinate and execute all Import Transhipment activities across Europe. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external agents to streamline operations, track shipments proactively, and meet performance targets consistently. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities will help support seamless logistics flows in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
Ensure strict compliance with transshipment procedures, Customs reporting requirements, and industry regulations
Consistently achieve performance KPIs and identify operational improvement opportunities
Develop synergies across the group to optimise transshipment processes
Monitor and support short sea-carry operations to maintain high service levels
Coordinate import transshipment activities in Northern Europe, the Mediterranean (MED), and Black Sea (BS) regions
Manage daily operations across multiple locations in Europe, ensuring shipment accuracy and timely handling
Track and investigate shipment deviations to minimise disruption
Approve supplier invoices within your delegated authority
Maintain clear and timely communication with agents and internal teams
What You'll Need
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
Excellent organisational skills with a structured and methodical approach
Strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship management
Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience working with diverse stakeholders across different countries and cultures
Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Desirable Skills
General knowledge of shipping and logistics
Understanding of maritime and transportation law is a plus
