We’re seeking a data-driven and proactive Collection Analyst to support the Servicing team within the wider Operations function. In this role, you’ll develop, measure, and optimise collection strategies, ensuring both regulatory compliance and strong customer outcomes. You'll be key in providing actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across collections and servicing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Collections Strategy:

  • Develop and optimise collections and communication strategies using customer data

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and champion fair customer outcomes

  • Monitor collections activity and recovery rates; analyse the impact of strategies

  • Regularly test and refine approaches to improve performance

  • Identify opportunities for change and mitigate risks through robust analytics

  • Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Act as a data point-of-contact for the Servicing team and the KPIs

Operations Analytics:

  • Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools across the Operations department

  • Handle ad-hoc analytical requests across various departments

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical insights

  • Effectively communicate results to support decision-making and change initiatives

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

  • Degree in a quantitative field OR equivalent commercial experience

  • Proven experience in collections analytics or collections strategy

  • (Nice to have) Experience in financial services, consumer credit, utilities, or Telecom

  • (Nice to have) Analytical experience in personal loans

Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL or Python (other programming experience also considered)

  • Strong analytical mindset; ability to convert raw data into actionable insights

  • Excellent communication skills tailored for varied stakeholders

  • (Nice to have) Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Quicksight
