Achieve Professionals are partnering with a world-renowned law firm in their search for an experienced Residential Development Lawyer for their Southampton office.

Job Description

The successful candidate will join a large Residential team within an international law firm supporting major clients and panel appointments including house builders, registered providers of affordable housing and PRS investors & developers in respect of residential and residential-led mixed-use development.

This role will preferably be based in the Southampton office, however any candidates interested with 8 years PQE+ have the option of working from the firm's other offices.

Role Responsibilities

  • Working on high value residential development and investment projects
  • Conditional contracts and transfers
  • Conditional options
  • Advising on right of pre-emption
  • Collaboration agreements and development agreements

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience of Residential Development work gained form as large regional or city firms
  • Enthusiasm and a great understanding of this area of law
  • A legal qualification with 3+ years post admission experience
  • Knowledge of UK living sector with expertise in house-building and/or strategic land, experience of build to rent and affordable housing would be advantageous but not essential
  • Experience of managing existing client relationships
