Straight-Line Civils are currently looking for a CDM Civils Site Supervisor to oversee aviation systems infrastructure projects across the UK.
A normal week would typically involve staying away from home Monday to Friday. Therefore, allowances for working away and all accommodation will be covered.
You will oversee two projects per year, from start to completion, and will have 10 to complete within the next 5 years.
The sites are in the following regions:
- An island West of Scotland
- Aberdeen
- Dumfries
- North Pennies
- Lincolnshire
- Shropshire
- Norfolk
- West Sussex
- Hertfordshire
- North Devon
However, for the first couple of months for your contract, you will be based out of the office in Southampton so must be local to the area.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day civils site operations, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and project specifications
- Oversee civil works, including groundworks, ducting, foundations, and associated infrastructure for aviation systems
- Maintain strict standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and plant requirements
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
- Keep accurate records, RAMS, and progress reports
Person Requirements:
- Proven experience as a site supervisor on civils projects
- In-depth knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations (KEY)
- Previous experience with aviation systems, defence, or aviation-related projects
- CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS required
- First Aid preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Salary - 50,000 to 60,000
