Plant Manager

Reports to: Area Asphalt Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all company and statutory Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, fostering best practices across the team.
  • Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction by providing top-tier service for both collections and deliveries.
  • Oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of all assets to maximize productivity and manage costs within established budgets.
  • Plan and implement both preventative and unplanned maintenance to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Actively manage and motivate plant staff daily, emphasizing individual development through support and tailored training initiatives.
  • Maintain comprehensive administrative records across various business areas, including Health, Safety, and Environment; Personnel; Sales; Procurement; Quality; and Energy Management.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in quarry or coating plant operations.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical maintenance programs.
  • Skilled in IT systems, particularly SAP.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and people management abilities.
  • SHE NVQ Level 4 certification completed or in progress.
  • Current and organized personal Continuous Professional Development (CPD) folder.
