Technical Sales Manager - Marine
Location: Southampton (Hybrid with UK & International Travel)
Salary: Up to 45,000 per annum

A global leader in marine environmental technology is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive business growth and lead engineering operations within their marine wastewater treatment division.

This hybrid role blends technical leadership, account management, and strategic sales. You'll manage a team of engineers and technicians while supporting clients with innovative, compliant wastewater treatment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor engineering and technical teams.
  • Oversee system design, optimisation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Resolve complex technical challenges and support system enhancements.
  • Drive continuous product improvement and innovation.
  • Manage key client accounts and develop new business opportunities.
  • Deliver technical sales support, from proposal to post-installation.
  • Lead technical project life cycles - design through to aftercare.
  • Ensure on-time, budget-compliant project delivery.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation and reports.
  • Conduct system audits and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Technical leadership experience in marine or wastewater treatment.
  • Strong knowledge of marine wastewater systems and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, teams, and client relationships.
  • Background in technical sales or account management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
