Materials Coordinator - 12 Month Contract (Southampton Area)

Inside IR35 | Fully On-Site | PAYE 35.23/hr or Umbrella 45.39/hr

Belcan Workforce Solutions are seeking an experienced Materials Coordinator to join a major refinery project in the Southampton area. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. The role is fully site-based and offers an excellent opportunity to work on critical turnaround and maintenance events for a leading energy operator.

As a Materials Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring all required materials are identified early, procured efficiently, and delivered to site in line with project milestones. You will manage secure storage, coordinate inspections, and maintain compliance with QA/QC and safety standards throughout the turnaround lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials planning and procurement within oil & gas or refinery environments, excellent SAP knowledge, and proven experience in turnaround projects. Local candidates are preferred due to the on-site nature of the role.

• Identify and plan materials in line with turnaround worklists and milestones
• Raise and manage purchase requisitions in SAP
• Coordinate expediting, inspections, and vendor communications
• Ensure secure storage and inventory control for all materials
• Support QA/QC readiness and compliance with site procedures

• Location: Southampton
• Duration: 12 months (possible extension)
• Inside IR35
• Rates: PAYE 35.23/hr or Umbrella 45.39/hr
• Fully site-based
