Our client is a well-established international manufacturing company, are looking for a driven Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. The role offers hands-on experience with 2D drawings, 3D models, and involvement in the assembly process, including plastic moulding, PCBs, and metal work. The Graduate Mechanical Engineer RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining mainly 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks. You’ll work closely with R&D engineers to provide hands-on support. The role also involves getting involved in the assembly process, including plastic moulding, PCBs, and metal work. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience early in your career.

The Ideal CandidateWe’re looking for a recent graduate or someone with up to 2 years of industry experience who has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field. Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential, and familiarity with assembly processes such as plastic moulding and PCBs would be an advantage, though not essential. What’s most important is your eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a collaborative environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for mechanical design are key to succeeding in this role.
