Responsibilities

Rigging Projects is seeking a highly organised and motivated Project Manager to join our team and lead the delivery of complex sailing systems and deck hardware. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' project management experience, preferably within the marine industry or a related technical field. A solid understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes is essential, along with familiarity with performance yacht equipment and rigging. Proficiency in CAD and experience contributing to new product development are highly advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are vital, as the role involves close collaboration with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in project management, preferably within the marine industry or a related technical field
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with yacht rigging and deck hardware is highly desirable
  • Competent in CAD, with the ability to contribute to the development of new product ranges
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with sound decision-making under pressure
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and priorities
  • PMQ, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is advantageous but not essential
  • A passion for sailing or a strong understanding of performance sailing yachts is highly valued
