Our client is a well-established international manufacturing company, this role is working on a site with around 100 people. They are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in mechanical design, perhaps a couple of years experience, or even someone who has a good career experience already and enjoys mechanical design.

The RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining mainly 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks. You will work closely with R&D engineers to provide hands-on support and ensure quick turnaround on design changes. The role will also involve being part of the assembly process, including plastic moulding, PCBs, and metal work.

The Ideal CandidateYou must have proficiency in SolidWorks and solid experience in mechanical design. An understanding of assembly processes including plastic moulding and PCBs is beneficial. You should be detail-oriented, with strong problem solving abilities and the ability to work collaboratively.
